    Joseph Davis is certified by the Texas State Board of Examiners as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A). He earned his Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Throughout his time studying, Joseph has been exposed to many styles of counseling and has worked with clients from various backgrounds and diverse ages. Therapeutically, Joseph gravitates toward Cognitive Behavioral and Narrative Therapies as well as Motivational Interviewing. Overall, Joseph believes in the power of a trusting therapeutic conversation. Having experienced that power himself, Joseph believes there is relief to be found for the issues we face.

    Ellen Russell has a Master of Arts in counseling from the University of Houston. Ellen received a BA in Psychology from the University of Houston, then completed courses at the Institute of Chemical Dependency Studies. She worked for a year and a half as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern with The Turning Point Inc. before returning to school to receive a master's degree. As an LPC-Associate at New Hope New Liberty Counseling, Ellen offers a strong therapeutic relationship for adults and children under a cognitive-behavioral and client-centered approach.

    Kirsten Downs-Mauldin graduated with her M.Ed. in Marriage, Family, and Couple Counseling at Lamar University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Kirsten has worked in various settings including behavioral clinics, research facilities, social work agencies, and education. Kirsten accepts individuals, couples, and families of varying ages with different degrees of presenting issues. Kirsten gravitates toward an Emotionally Focused Therapy approach and tends to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practices, but will find the best practices and approach that is effective for the client and their presenting issues. Kirsten believes by creating and maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients, she can help them feel more empowered within themselves, learn new and appropriate coping mechanisms, and find ways to change their negative maladaptive thoughts and feelings to more productive and positive ones.

    Brittany Klaus has a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University. She received her BA from Howard Payne University. Brittany likes to take a client-centered approach and incorporate existential therapy ideals. Her focus is on providing a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment to help individuals explore struggles, goals, life changes, or any other topic they wish. She understands counseling can be intimidating but wants anyone considering therapy to know that meeting with her will always be in a safe space. She enjoys working with individuals of any age but is passionate about helping kids, teenagers, and young adults.

    Caly Nolen is a current master's Student in the Clinician Mental Health Counseling Program at LeTourneau university. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Caly utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral approach to therapy and automatic thought processing and uses an integrated approach to Christian counseling for those interested in exploring faith in their sessions. Caly enjoys working with all age groups. She also has a passion for helping pregnant women, as well as those dealing with postpartum depression, newly married couples, and young adults.
