    Hope Brown, M.A., LPC-S

    Hope Brown, M.A., LPC-S

    Hope Brown is certified by the Texas State Board of Examiners as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Prior to her education in counseling, Hope served in the Army Reserves and in community hospitals as a Respiratory Therapist. Counseling experience includes working in various settings, from private practice to non-profit work. Hope has also worked inpatient psychiatric care, where she ran groups for coping skills and chemical dependency. She routinely assessed those who dealt with chronic and new onset mental illness for their need for crisis care and stabilization. Hope currently only offers individual counseling to adult clients. Her counseling approach includes elements of Person-Centered, IFS, Cognitive Behavioral, and Existential therapies.  Most important is her belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to achieving growth in the counseling process. Hope wants to empower clients with the ability to realize their potential and know that their past does not determine their future.
    Joseph Davis, M.A., LPC

    Joseph Davis, M.A., LPC

    Joseph Davis is certified by the Texas State Board of Examiners as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He earned his Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Throughout his time studying, Joseph has been exposed to many styles of counseling and has worked with clients from various backgrounds and diverse ages. Therapeutically, Joseph gravitates toward Cognitive Behavioral and Narrative Therapies as well as Motivational Interviewing. Overall, Joseph believes in the power of a trusting therapeutic conversation. Having experienced that power himself, Joseph believes there is relief to be found for the issues we face.

    Carol Cloteaux, M. Ed., LPC-Associate Supervised by Hope Brown, MA, LPC-S

    Carol Cloteaux obtained her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston. Her previous career as an elementary school teacher fueled her passion for helping students learn coping skills that can be implemented in and out of the classroom. Her current clinical focus is helping individuals of all ages who are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other presenting issues.

    Kirsten Downs-Mauldin, M.Ed., LPC

    Kirsten Downs-Mauldin is certified by the Texas State Board of Examiners as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Kirsten Downs-Mauldin graduated with her M.Ed. in Marriage, Family, and Couple Counseling at Lamar University. She earned her B.S in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Kirsten has worked in various settings including ABA Behavioral clinics, psychological research facilities, social work agencies, and education. Kirsten likes to use an Emotionally Focused and Person-Centered approach with a variety of skills and techniques unique to the issues presented by each individual. Kirsten has specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) specifically designed to treat Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) as well as treatment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Kirsten’s focus is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering environment to support individuals in achieving their goals and gaining a better understanding of themselves. Kirsten accepts individuals, couples, and families of varying ages and is passionate about ensuring all feel safe, respected, and welcomed in her care.

    Caly Nolen, M.A., LPC-Associate Supervised by Hope Brown, MA, LPC-S

    Caly Nolen holds a Master's degree in Clinician Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau university. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Caly utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral approach to therapy and automatic thought processing and uses an integrated approach to Christian counseling for those interested in exploring faith in their sessions. Caly enjoys working with all age groups. She also has a passion for helping pregnant women, as well as those dealing with postpartum depression, newly married couples, and young adults.
