LaShay Groendyke, Staff Intern, Supervised by Hope Brown, MA, LPC-S

LaShay is a counselor in training at Lamar University and working to complete her Master of Education in Counseling & Development in Marriage, Couple & Family Counseling. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University. Her previous career in elementary education has helped her find a passion for helping children and families navigate difficult situations. LaShay utilizes person-centered therapy, humanistic therapy and cognitive behavior therapy but will use other therapeutic approaches as needed to best support her clients. She believes that every individual has the ability to grow and overcome challenges with the right support and guidance.
